Effects of Stanzol for a novice

I am a novice (also termed, idiot) and took some advice from a personal trainer (another idiot) and tried Stanzol. I am 190 pounds, 49 years old and just wanted to add some muscle mass. I took the product for only 14 days at 40 mg per day. During this time, I found this site and began to educate myself (this is where the idiot part comes in as I should have done that first). After about 12 days I started noticing some kidney discomfort. I stopped taking the product 1 week ago and during this past week my joints ache like hell. I am coming to the pros (that's you) to ask for some advice on repair. What is recommended to take to help repair any damage that may have been caused by this product? Am I out of luck? With such a limited time (14 days) is this enough time to cause irreparable damage or will these symptoms subside? Thanks for your time in educating an idiot.

I am glad to see that now you know what to do before a cycle; research.

As 2.minutes stated it is best to go visit a doc and get some bloodwork done, I am supposing you didin't get any bloodwork done before the cycle??

You should also get yourself a better trainer.

    Hope I helped.

I have not solved my own problems with the joints that got very bad from running a cycle of Winstrol a couple of years ago. I don't know if there is a solution to this problem.

Be lucky you don't ran them for longer than two weeks ;(

    Bloodwork???

Two people have now suggested bloodwork but what would the bloodwork be looking for? No, I did not have bloodwork before the cycle...again what would I have hoped to find prior to the cycle? I am in Singapore so if I go and find a doctor, what am I to suggest he look for. Thanks for your advice.

If you had bloodwork done before, you would have a baseline to which you could compare the new bloodvalues to and see any anomalies.

I personally don't really know what to look for in particular, maybe another member with more experience can help you.

But if there are large changes in your bloodvalues these would stand out compared to the standard range.

Sorry I couldn't help you anymore.

    Hope it works out.

    14 days @ 40mgs.....

You should be fine. I bet the kidneys & joint pain is all in your head.

Just to be safe, I would get bloodwork.

    Your trainer is mental.
