    Major Change

Alright, I know this isn't a big deal to many if any of you guys but I just thought I would share the good news in my life.

My dad and my uncle are dentists here in Washington state for 20 some odd years now and they own their own dental practice. They are one of the only offices that take medicade and the amount of charts they have are nuts....over 15,000 little kids (20 and under)!!

I'm going to cut this short....I'm going to be a junior in college; my previous major was business/finance (going to law school after) but as I was sitting talking to my dad he was telling me that when I'm done with school, he will GIVE me his side of the practice and my sister who will be starting this year with me, my dad will buy the other half for her!!

One of the huge perks is....(let me see if I can explain this right) if you run a medicade program, the state will reimburse you for your under and post graduate schooling!! My dad is going to save virtually couple hundred g's for my sister and I to be dentists and when we get out we have a program up and running for us with no bills to worry about!!!

Ok, I'm just super excited and wanted everyone to hear my good news. Sorry this post is so long.

But do you really want to be a dentist? Or is it just easier because he has a practice waiting for you. I don't think I could spend years of my life doing something I really didn't want to do and I do not have a passion for.

I always wanted to be an orthodontist or pediatric specialist since I was younger living in san diego but my dad kind of talked me more towards business (come to find out later it wasn't for me). Last weekend, he brought that proposal up to my attention and I really got to thinking about it and I think I'm to nice to be a lawyer (business law).

I didn't just think about being a dentist one day and jumping on this opportunity, I always wanted to be a dentist but I always wanted to work with my cousin who just graduated with a business degree this past year.

On a side note, I hope to be involved with a little real estate investing once everything gets going etc.

    Then congrats.

My sister is an oral surgeon. She has her own practice and loves her work. I remember when we were kids she used to play dentist and would brush, floss and pick our teeth for us. I know it sounds gross but she's has always been into teeth.
