    Adequan might be the answer......

I have been told that if you have an injury to a tendon/ligament, HGH is going to be your only option for rehabilitation. Well according to what I have found, I am not sure this is the case. This I found interesting:

    "Tendon structure:

Tendons consist of tightly packed bundles of collagen fibres"
    link: http://www.vin.com/proceedings/Proce... 67&O=Generic
    --------

    "A normal ligament consists of:

    90% Type 1 collagen
    9% Type 3 collagen
1% fibroblast cells (the cells that produce collagen)"
    Link: http://www.physioroom.com/injuries/s.../ligaments.php
    --------

"Adequan contains a molecule called polysulfated glycosaminoglycan. Basically, what this does is two things:

    1) it helps rebuild the cartilage - the cushion is not gone forever, and the cat or dog (Or human can rebuild it. However, it needs the raw materials, and polysulfated glycosaminoglycan is one of those.

    2) it stops the destruction of cartilage by other enzymes. It has an anti-inflammatory effect, which stops both the pain of arthritis and the additional damage that inflammation can cause"

"adequan signifigantly increases the natural collagen repair process."

Now wouldnt this make you think that adequan can potentially be the answer to your injury?

I am trying to obtain some. I will run it at least 21 days and post a log.

I have been thinking along the same lines as you. I have done 6 mo 2 ius of GH and currently 3 mo. into another 6 mo. of GH. I may do a year this time. I can't say the GH is doing that much, as far as repair.
And of course, one of the sides of GH is joint pain.

I just obtained a RX for my dog from My Vet. for Adequan and will give it a try soon. I will do it at 2MG per lb of body wt. twice a week for 5 weeks.

So in my case it will be
    400 MG twice a week> FOR 5 weeks

I am 45 with moderate Arthritis and have had one knee and two sholder surgery’s.

Before a w/o my Regimen is 2 Altrum or one loratab . Both Kidney and liver killers in the long term....NOT TO MENTION THE CHEM> DEPENDENCY>.
GOOD LUCK AND WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM SOME THAT HAVE EXPERANCE WITH Adequan

And for a little more info...

I have heard MANY people say "adequan WILL NOT repair tendons/ligaments" and this is totally incorrect. I have researched this product pretty thoroughly and I have read numerous different studies of expereinces in humans, dogs and Horses that clearly state: "Adequan repairs the tissues that make up tendons/ligaments". Plain and simple, thats what it does.

IMO adequan has a higher rate if successfully helping heal joint/tendon/ligament related injuries when equally compared to Deca and HGH.

This is based on research and not personal experience thus far but, hopefully I will have a log posted myself shortly.

Have you had a chance to try the Adequan yet Skullsmasher? I have tried the Aflutop already and didnt really see any results and even supplementing with HGH. I have been searching everywhere for Adequan but with no luck. Let me know if you were able to get your hands on some and how it worked out for you
