    Too Much Cardio?

    I'm on a cutter right now, and currently do cardio every day except for leg days...sometimes I'll do it in both the AM and PM...am I doing too much? I've had to switch to the elliptical because I got shin splints last week, but I think that's because I haven't ran forever...input please?

    I did just 4-5 days of cardio, once daily. But it is whatever works for you.

    For example, if you do like I do, and still wanna see more fat loss or if its just not working for ya, up the cardio to 7 days. And if that still doesnt suit just right, before going to cardio twice daily, might wanna look at yr diet first, JMO.

    Just whatever makes you look and feel good...and works.

    It sounds like you were doing too much for your shins. Did you mean doing too much as in over training? That’s hard to say. How long are you doing cardio each time? Try doing your cardio only in the AM on an empty stomach for 30-60 mins max. The best form of cardio IMO is something that doesn't put stress on your body.

    assuming you want to retain muscle...are you keeping your heart beat between 65-75%? I do the same right now as you. Adding extra today 500cals in the am, 350 pm/ 26minutes am-18 minutes pm

    Twice a day for how long? What is your diet? Gonna be hard to maintain muscle on that schedule IMO.

    Depends on a lot of things.. your caloric intake/macros per day and if you are using anabolics. All these things are very important to know before taking a dive into losing fat and holding LBM.
