Those mother***kers got rid of pluto!!!

They fired his ass, gave him a demotion. Anybody else hear about this?! The planet that is? No longer apart of our solar system.. thats f 'ed up, big time.
Now we only have 8 planets, said its gonna take like 6 years to update all the textbooks, so these poor little kids are gonna be raised thinking we have 9 planets but little do they know...
    this is a catastrophy.

Well, it's still in our solar system, just not considered a planet. They were talking about upgrading another "Rock" but I guess they didn't. Some generic name like meso-8 of something.

Basically, they couldnt find out enough info on it so rather than saying "We Dont Know." They said "Fuk it, its no longer in our Solar System" lol

Well there are few reason they demoted it. For one unlike all other planets it doesnt orbit in a round speherical shape around the sun, it's skewed or eccentric and overlaps I believe a few other planets like neptune. Here is the definition of a planet: “A celestial body in orbit around the Sun that has sufficient gravity to overcome rigid body forces so that it assumes a hydrostatic equilibrium [nearly round] shape and has cleared the neighbourhood around its orbit.” So Pluto fails to meet this definition.
It's basically a ball of ice and if Pluto is a planet then there are at least 50-100 other balls of ice in the vicinity of Pluto, Kuiper belt, that as well should be recognized as planets. So if we look at the reciprocal situation, we could demote one minor planet or promote an indefinite, infinite amount of celestial bodies.

Blame it on the Bush Administration... pfft... we could play it off like we dusted it in a fit of rage regarding the political unrest in the Middle East.
