    isnt it bad to lock out your knees like that??

    Most people do lock their knees as a "rest." I use to always lock out without a problem but been training myself to keep going which makes the squat harder. When i get towards the last few reps i do lock to catch my breath.

    AHh that one dude took like 4 minutes. Fvckin had a 30 second rest btwn each rep Ahh coleman lightweightt

    I tried doing that once..locking my knees like that..and I kinna exploded into the next rep..man that hurt. Never again.

    No i didn't mean locking my knees out.. i mean using rest-pause to extend the set til my rep goal was reached

    Locking out the knees.. ouch!

    Ohhh..yeah me too. I havent in forever. I used to get the first 8 or 10 pretty easily and then take deep breaths..maybe 6/8 seconds btwn reps like him..Im too weak for that now..to do it with respectable weight

    many people lock their knees, i dont personally .
    no paticular reason i just dont though.

    yeh for some reason when i was young all my brothers (who are animals) use to scream at me for doing it when we use to lift together. that was like the one thing i realized i shouldnt do when i first started lifting. whether or not its really that important is another story, but i just cant lock my knees out now and days without hearing my brothers voices. btw, they are all massively bigger than me.
