What you are describing is just the need to incorporate all types of protein sources in one's diet. Chicken/fish is good because it is lean and allows you a razor's edge precision in counting your macros while beef, a red meat, contains saturated fat and iron that boosts your endocrine system and blood oxygen transport (because of the iron) at the same time. Eating too much beef, no matter how lean, increases your risk of LDL and cholesterol levels, not to mention uric acid....while eating too much poultry can deprive you of the much needed iron and some saturated fat although you get a good dose of B vitamins... so you see, its all about balance
I have two questions for you: Have you ever seen an obese chicken? Have you even seen a lean cow?
