    wrist straps or wrist hooks???

well i've used wrist straps before when doing one arm dumbbell rows and shrugs, but have never used wrist hooks. I just saw them for sale at a local modells sporting goods store. any opinions since this does help you support more weight than your hands can ...??? thanks

I had wrist injuries many many years ago, so i depend on wrist strap for support to perform many reps in workout routine,

Straps are better than hooks for the fit IMO.

Hooks all the way baby.. really allowed me to get the weights i needed to get my back where i wanted it..

love them.. use them.. makes the workout easier/quicker to get into the exercise, and out of it...

The straps are a must. Wouldn't hurt to try them though. Might be better for you. Never know till you try.

i used to use them but ppl have told me it takes away from grip strength so i just go w/ nothing now. i might however pick up some wrist wraps for bench just because its starting to take a toll on my wrists.

I like hooks, I have had straps break on me too many times causing a big bang and unwanted attention. But when I do deads the hook dig into my leg on the way up which sucks.

straps for deads. I try to go as heavy a possible without them don't want them to become too much of a crutch
