    What is a bodybuilder?

How do you define a bodybuilder? Or yourself as one?

I believe anyone that works out is a body builder, but everybody just looks at the HUGE guys as BodyBuilders. I look at them as Body Architects...just not builders!

Everyone who works out and trys to better there appearence is a bodybuilder IMO.

I think of it as more than just staying in shape and trying to be thin or what not.
It's taking what god gave you, and enhancing it everyway way shape and direction possible. Giving up things to make yourself something better than what is meant to be.

To me bodybuilding is a life style.

Alot of athletes or high school kids weight train, but a bodybuilder lives the lifestyle (proper rest, proper nutrition, etc).

I think that depicts the difference between a weighlifter and a bodybuilder. Although I try to follow a high calorie diet, I do not consider myself a bodybuilder.

Yup same here....and I'm pretty big and cut.....I still say I just lift weights - I would feel like a dumba$$ if I called myself a bb like those guys who call themselves boxers or whatever after 2 weeks of training
