    cutting question please help brothers!!

Just started my cutting phase and I wanted to know if I can drink a cytogainer (75 carbs and 55 protein) shake post workout since my total carb intake will be in my first three meals and then will decline as the day goes on. ALso I do 35-45 min cardio after training and should I wait to drink this shake until after I finish cardio or right after weight training. Sounds stupid but please help brothers. Just worried about the calories.

I use cyto gainer as well and love it. I used to use the 40:80 ratio while cutting but have found much better results while reducing it to anywhere from 40:40 to 40:60. With cytogainer I use 2-2 1/2 scoops and one scoop of On's Whey. Mixed with 1/4 cup of skim milk, a few sweet n' lows and alot of water and ice and shit man does it taste good.

sure you could...I wouldn't recommend it, especially for cutting.

Most of my carbs would be from the cyto gainer post workout and oatmeal in the morning so hopefully everything will be ok.

Great call Audi. Nothing beats the Elite, i'd say. You tried the orange dreamsicle flavour? Amazing also. I bought both that and the butter toffee...alternate days on it. So G!

    1) If you are doing cardio after you train, there is no point at all having the PWO shake then doing the cardio. Do your cardio immediately following your weight routine- 20-30 mins 65% MHR. Once you finish your cardio pound the shake.

    2) I'm not too familiar with Cytogainer. But, for a PWO shake two scoops of whey and your choice of carbs following. 2:1 ratio protein: carbs. If cytogainer has a significant amount of fat in it, then it definately is a serious no-no PWO- I dont know about the product, though.

If you're gonna go through the trouble of packing a shake, why not pack a meal in tubberware instead? Don't expect to get any gains taking the easy way out especially in a situation as easy as prepacking a single meal..
