i've heard good things about follicare. is alright to take follicare with the current hormones i'm taking?
how old are you and do you have any bold family members?
Finasteride will only prevent/minimize hairloss only due to testosterone. That doesnt mean you cant take it with DHT dervied or androgenic products like winny, tren et cetra. It's just that Finasteride will do nothing while taking those compounds. Nizoral will help remove DHT from the scalp but if you are prone then you are playing with fire.
I have MPB and am on Deca/Test and hair in thinning. Oh well, make the choice my friend. As you can tell, i did.
my father has a receding hairline but no baldness per say. my hair is always been thick and now its starting to thin out and my hairline is starting to recede.
oh and i'm 27 by the way.Originally Posted by cj1capp

obviously ive made my choice, but im trying to avoid any hairloss if i can. i have a humungus scar that i'm rather self-consience about, so simply shaving my head isn't an option. (i tried it before and it looked like somebody took a cheese grater to my head.)Originally Posted by DSM4Life

start saving for hair restoration now.
I set up a separate account for it when I was 24.
I noticed thinning and frankly, we all know that it only will get worse with time.
Now 7 years later, I went and got my surgery.
Tonight as a matter of fact. It wasn't fun. but I know it will be the best investment I've ever made in myself.
Going bald is noooooooooo fun if you're the kind of person that cares about that kind of shit.
How did you save up?
Lucious, I had the same thing happen to me on tren. Within about 8 days my hair started falling out and my hairline receeded quite a bit. I stopped my cycle and my hair thickened up and my hairline grew back some. Several months later I decided to do a cycle of test cyp/deca/dbol, all three compounds I used before the tren and never experienced ANY hair loss. After 10 days on that cycle, again, my hair was thinning and my hairline went WAY back. If it's no big deal to you, fine, but if it is--I suggest you cut your cycle short. Since stopping my last cycle a few months ago I use finasteride every day and various Nioxin products. No more hair loss and my hair thickened up to what it once was. The hairline DID re-grow some ,but it's where it used to be. Good luck.
My brother did that but it didn't work. What was even worse was the billOriginally Posted by themetalmich

leftfood, you have to take finasteride for a while before it begins to work. there are products that aresupposed to be good on cycle, spiro, azleic acid, minoxidil, retin a. these are all supposed to be good, especially spiro although can be smelly.
shave it all off and get real big..
I've heard really good things about retin a. Might want to look into that. I'm not too familier with hair loss problems, but the guys at my gym swear by retin a and fina.
The never ending fight, i bought finastiride 2 months ago, am taking it everyday, along with this since Nisoral gives me some mad dandruff (try to figure that one out) i need to use nioxin shampoo.
Yuo gotta give yourself 6 months to a year to see the results with Finastiride but the sooner you start the better, lost hair doesnt grow back.
So far so good for me, i also changed my diet cut out sugar and junk food and that seem to help too.
how much does that hair restoration procedure cost anyway?
ya how much does that cost?
my hair has been thin since i was born![]()
now its starting to get worse people are liek whoa your going bald. and i would say it runs in the famjust turned 20

i'd say keep it short, and deal with the fact that youre slowly but surely going bald. It will be better and cheaper to deal with it. It's what I'm doin.
there is an old saying
THE MORE HAIR I LOOSE , THE HEAD I GET.
i started using a combination of:
finasteride
minoxidil 5%
minoxidil 5% with azleic acid
minoxidil with retin a
nizoral 2%
and my hairloss has decreased drastically
there are other products available better than minoxidil, but it is suggested that these are used when the effects of the minoxidil begin to decrease over time.
spirolactane is good to use on cycle as it is very efficient.
No worst feeling than going thin on top!!!
Im 27 and im holding on to my last bit but no way would I pay for anything doing, had all the stick I can take of the lad's, its last weeks news now.................At last!!!
