    Are soccer players drama queens?

All you soccer fans out there! I was watching some video of soccer players and every time they get fouled they seem to get REAL hurt....is this just an act for the referees? Some of the hits and the like did not look that bad, so I was just curious if it is traditional in the sport to indulge in a penalty to make it look worse than it is...

Thats why I hate soccer or football as we call it in UK. I always tell people who want to talk to me about how good football is what a bunch of ****ing wimps the players are. It puts me off watching it. Bunch of little babies. Rugby or American football anytime.

Bunch of pansies...you don't see that kind of nonsense in Rugby or American football, I'm suprised refs don't tell them to stop their crying and get back in the game.

Not even the stomach, the CHEST. The sternum is one of the hardest places on the human body, I find it hard to believe a straight on headbutt would make a man fall down and roll around like a fool...

yea, i cant stant it, but it is a big part of the game. if you can get a free kick in a good spot it can change the game. i hate it but its not enough to turn me off soccer.

There's a few legit tough guys in football, or was if you look at players like Roy Keane or Zidane but yes, on the whole football players are a bunch of grossly overpaid divas.

i think i know where youre going with this. but anyways to answer the question, like carlos said it is all part of the game. you try to draw fouls just like any sport. do you call them pussys or wimps? no. soccer isnt all about just making dramatic fouls, if thats all you see out of it then you are missing the whole game and how great it is. now dont get me wrong im a huge football fan like the next guy but i also enjoy watching soccer and i believe you are missing the point

One thing I will give soccer players, 90 minutes of sprinting up and down a field is NUTS! Talk about conditioning.

you really must know two things, 1 is how to play and number 2 is how to act.

I think 95% of professional athletes are drama queens. They think their poop don't stink!
