    just google the name of the platform the game runs on
    like i play counterstrike source the platform the game runs on is valve and the game is product of steam.when u load the game for oonline play there should be a name on the load screen google it

    legal talk...very simple... if you are looking to download a copy of a game that you have but is damaged, you can go do it with bit torrent like said above...i'm assuming that's what you meant since else wise would be illegal

    go to google and do a search for xdcc catcher is a program that hooks into mirc and u can download anything from full dvd movies too games faster then anyother program out there

    news groups are the shiiiiiiiii....i download at over four megaBYTES a second(sometimes as high as 6MB/s), ofcourse im on my university lan and im an admin, so im not at all throttled...but i can download an entire dvd film(that i already own of course) in less time than it takes to watch it

    Also, what are your specs, experience, etc...
