Lyle Alzaldo, says steroids cause brain cancer

Now i got into a heated debate about steroids with my parents because Im one of those people who thinks i can change the whole worlds mind about certain issues. Both my mom and dad are like steroids cause brain cancer than i explain to them theres not ONE linked death or serious illness to steroid use, even made them watch this vid...

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=73EC609GYD0

than my dad brings up the oakland raiders defensive lineman who died when he was 42 and went on a compaign talking about how steroids gave him brain cancer. i told them there was NO evidence at all that this was a conclusion he completely reached himself. fact is i dont know shit about this event and ill be arguing with my dad for the next 4 hours till i convince him it wasnt steroids, so if anyone know anything more specific about this case please let me know so i can throw it in my dads face and see what the hell his smart ass has to say about it. heres his memorial.

Alzado's own doctor said steroids didnt cause his death, cancer caused his death, your father dosent know any young people that died from cancer ???? Why do you have to prove to him ?? Let him prove to YOU that steroids caused his death, it's people talkin about stuff that they know nothing about, show us the proof and the bodys !!!!

yeh this site is bad for me, im serious. anytime i hear anyone say ANYTHING bad about steroids im ready to fight them over it, like "you dont know wtf your talkn about, according to a study in 1998 blah blah i know my shit and you dont blah blah blah.. shut the ***k up you dumb fvck!!"

amazing when you choose to go against the common grains of convention and seek a little deeper insight to some shit in life, seems like everyone believes the first thing they hear just because thier too lazy to think about one thing two times.

another great thing is how, someone will make the asumption that one person got brain cancer from steroids, but yet they dont take into figure the 100,000's of the other people who take them and are perfectly fine.

did he ever consider the fact that maybe he cant remember shit or walks with a wobble is because he was throwing his body into walls of human for years..... stupid ****s... they run head on into a lineman.. lose their memory and it MUST be the steroids...

yeh this drives me fvckns nuts!! not just with juice but if your trying to make a point about ANYTHING theres always that dumb useless asshole who will come in and say "no your wrong, you know why? because this one time in 1673 some guy died after he ate an apple so apples must be poisonous you see your wrong and im right apples DO kill people"

thats about as logical as some of the shit i hear come out of peoples mouths.

sometimes ill ask someone "ohh and i assume you did some research on this? maybe found some evidence to prove your point?" and you get that look, like they're seriously thinking "what kind of person does research? what a loser"
just pay attention to the face someone makes next time you ask them for evidence, they automatically think your like a lawyer or some shit and get all freaked out like ... research?? wait.. maybe im dealing with one of those people who actually thinks for themself?? NOOO!!!!!!!!! ive been duped!!!! not another idiot i can brainwash with my monkey talk.

iffff he had brain cancer, aka a defective brain, couldnt that in itself lead him to say things only a person with a defective brain would say ie: "steroids cause brain cancer" ??

It's like the rapist saying porn made me do it or a kid going batshit in his local school with a shotgun and everyone saying it was video games or horror movies that was the catalyst.

All these shitheads will blame their actions on anything other then the fact that they are just ****ed up individuals, end of story.

There are no users suffering brain cancer or cardiomyopathies. Lyle Alzedo was the poster child for steroid opponents, but his brain cancer would be more likely to come from other sources that pro athletes use. Though I don't know that he did any of this. High IGF1 from GH injections is a known cancer risk. So is high insulin, which often accompanies high IGF1.

Abuse is far different from sensible use. There is no evidence that steroid use promotes brain cancer. More Boston Marathon runners (4 reports that I know of and there are doubtless more) have died of brain cancer than football players who were known steroid users. And, in the case of marathoning, the chemical messengers and mechanisms are known.

im sure it has nothing to do with the continuous hits from 300+ guys every few seconds, so its gotta be the steroids. duh.

It just has to do with their body size in general. Heart has to work very hard pumping all that blood, and all that weight wears on the body. Andre The Giant is a prime example, though he was diseased, a man that size cant expect to live really long.....
