    Two sessions?

I was wondering if doing two lifting sessions in one day would beneficial. For example; on monday I do chest, I always lift right in the morning. After school would it makes sense to go back and do chest again, with the same exercises? I would do the same for all my other muscle group days.

Agreed. If you can work the same muscle group with the exact same excercises that day, you aren't hitten it hard enough the first time. Your muslces should be fatigued after a hard workout.

Its pointless to do the same body part twice, you need to heal it. You could do chest and tris in the morning and legs in the afternoon, not many people do that anymore, but it worked for arnold.

ive never done it but who knows, it could be used occasionally to shock your muscles. i just remember an article by kevin levrone years ago in flex mag. where he was doing the same bodypart twice a day. of course he was probably taking alot of stuff to help him recover faster.

i definitly wouldnt recomend this being your standard routine but you could try it out every once and a while, or even just do it for a couple weeks straight to test it out. it doesnt make much sense to me but you wont know for sure unless you try it.

if you do try it out make sure you let us know the results.

Its not that am not hitting it hard enough, but no matter what, I go to the gym in the morning. After school or work, I usually find myself craving to go back, but I dont wan't to do a different routine. I thought it would be like hitting the muscle even better because your really working it with about a 12 hour recovery period. I am making good gains doing what I'm doing, but I have the extra time and I really like going.
