Unhappy Is that bytch crazy (your toughts on this)

Sorry for that rant, but i really want to know.

I went to this osteopath about 8 times she does cranial and viseral osteopathy.

The first 3 sessions where great she actually put me back togheter and i could train again, but the last sessions she worked on my internal organs doing pressure.

She worked on my lungs, liver, stomach, heart, colon, kidneys and diaphragme.

My pain is in the upper back and lower back.

Seems that everyone i talk to about this technique tells me that she is full of shit.

I am mad cause i almost spend all my 500$ allowed by my insurance company on this.

Another guy at my job says he had the same pain has me on the side, it was worst cause he couldnt walk and thats a case of arthrose, type of arthritis.

But the osteopath he want to see fixed him up, he made some very good adjustment and the pain went away.

I really hope that this time it works.

After this i will go into acupuncture

yeah i think you first osteopath was a nut job, when people try to feed me that freaky mumbo jumbo, i imeediately doubt them, truth is, i bet this crazy lady believes what she says and does, most practcioners who practice whacky tecniques really believe they work, i have some people i went to school with who tell me they do "energy work" i had them perform this "energy work on me, it was like a light massage, i fell asleep on the table and when i woke up, i felt welll rested, butit didnt do anything for my pain at all.it didnt work, but they truly believe what they do can cure the world of all health problems, nice people , but i think they have some screws loose

BTW Doc she does say she works with energy cause when she treats me she got her eyes closed and she looks to be in deep mediation.

She is weird, nice but weird, i didnt like the comment she said about my age.

some forms of this energy work can work, i have had raki done , and had good results, now was it the raki that healed me, or was it my body? who knows. i dig massage therapy, i think that it is one of the best tools for back pain, but when people start talking to me, and they start using words like, open or closed chakras, meridian triangles, etc basicaly words that have nothing todo with the science or physiolgy of the body or problem, i tend to be leary of what they do or if it really works.
to me it is like the premise of scientology, some people take things to far and start to think they are som kind of crazy guru or natural healer, as if the rules of logic and every day science do not apply to them, and that there methods are better than conventional medicine. i am not saying conventional medicine is always right, but iam also nt going to say whacky magic exists in certain people and they can heal me by putting there hand above my body and closing there eyes and wishing my pain away,

this is a chiro tech called BGI, read this and you tel me scientificaly how the hell this works

Bio-Geometric Integration (BGI) is a unique and powerful approach to Chiropractic. It embraces the time honored vitalistic principles of Chiropractic and the same time advances a fresh and positive new way of thinking. BGI is an understanding of the force dynamics surrounding the creation and release of the Subluxation.

The key concepts that make BGI unique are:

    Geometry Integration Potential

Geometry. All things in nature are based on patterns. These patterns are known as Sacred Geometry. One such pattern is the Tree of Life. The Tree of Life has been part of various healing traditions dating back thousands of years. The innate geometry of the human body that was discovered during the evolution on BGI is exactly that of the Tree of Life. The knowledge of this innate geometry can be used as a very precise means of analyzing and adjusting subluxations.

Integration. As we go through life we are subjected to different stresses. These stresses can be classified as physical stresses (injury, surgery, illness, etc.), chemical stresses (pollution, junk food, alcohol, caffeine, medications, etc.), and mental or emotional stresses (anger, fear, job related stress, relationship stress, etc.) Chiropractors refer to these stresses as trauma, toxins and thoughts, or, “the Three T’s.” BGI actually helps your body use the three T’s in a positive and productive manner. Rather than trying to alleviate or manage these stresses, BGI empowers your body to integrate them. Stresses are an important part of the human experience. It is unrealistic and counterproductive to try to negate them. By integrating stress, your body and psyche grow and learn from them.

Potential. In Chiropractic, the conventional approach to subluxations is to view them as problems that need to be fixed. In BGI, subluxations are seen as Potential! When we adjust a Subluxation, we’re doing much more than merely “fixing a problem.” We are releasing your Potential to express the beauty and perfection that is inherent within you.

i read crap like this,it makes my profession look like a circus side show, and this isnt true, there are just certain individuals who take things to a level of almost a religion/cult and totaly take out of context principles of anatomy, phys , and science , and make up some philisophical mumbo jumbo that doesnt even make sense to the majority of people in the sameprofession. this is by far NOT meidcine, physio therapy or rehab, hell it isnt even massage therapy, i wouldnt no what to classify this as, but one thing is for sure, it is CERTAINLY not chiropractc or osteopathic manipualtion and it shouldnt even have the word chiropractic associated to whatever the hell it is.

a chiro, from my town , she believed in this nonsense, she had an epileptic patient, took her off her meds prescribed by her general Dr. girl became violently ill. her family called this energy working suposed chiro. to ask why this was happening. lady claimed it was normal, and th patient was just adapting to being "drug free" and soon the seizure would stop once her body flushed the medicjne out of her system/ the patiend ended up dying, the lady lost her licence , did time and prison, was charged with innsurance fraud, and for overstepping her boundaries as a chiro, and removing a patient from medication.
this lunatic, put her practice in another chiro's name, did her time, got out of jail, went back to massage therapy school, and now treat patients at her clininc with that licence since her chiro license was revoked, so the bitch beat the system, and is out there now making cliams to be able to feel caffeine in your head with her fingers and being able to cure diseases modern medicine can not conquer. makes you think twice,

The acupuncture women is sort of affiliated with my osteopath, now both of them said that my liver was a problem.

Now the acupuncture women that i saw took my resting pulse for one minute and she told me that in fact my liver was not working normal?

This morning i wanted to test for myself so i took my resting pulse beat twice i was totally relaxed when i did this the first time i had 57 beats per minute and the second time 56 beats per minute.

Now its clean that someone is screwing with me, plus since my father passed away from colon cancer i had my colonoscopy 2 weeks ago and again they took my pulse before, i was a bit nervous of course and was at 70 beats per minute which again is normal.

I guess it would make no sense to go back to see this women acupuncture either and go with the chinese guy acupuncutre.

try a diiferent accupuncturist, and when they do something whacky, ask them why, how is the liver associated with a resiting pulse? it makes no sense to me,but chinese medicine is very unique.have them explain why they do what they do

just in case, get blood work taken and see if your liver values are elevated, if they are, maybe these cooks are right, if you are concerned about theliver, a high dose of milk thistle should do the trick

Doc since my father passed away i had blood works done 3 times, he passed in Febuary, i found a young chinese doctor that didnt take any chance since my grand father and father both had colon cancer.

She ordered some blood test taken right away even to check liver enzyme, everything came back ok.

The osteopath and the acupuncture both told me that the liver and lungs are very sensitive to emotions, they are the sign of sadness and since my father death and cat death where such big impact on theses organs this is where the pain came from?

In acupuncture medecin they say if your pulse is whirry it might be a sign that the liver is not fonctioning well.

Once again doc you opened my eyes, i am still mad has hell but what can i say, i feel so damn stupid.

I still have to take another rendez vous with a new osteopath, the guy is booked like crazy and cant really see me before 3 weeks, he was a physiotherapist before and now does both osteo and physio.

Like i said a guy at my job went there with worst pain then me and after is adjutement he felt better.

Lets hope that this time its gonna be the right one. For now i am resting myself and take it easy.

I met my first tae kwon do teacher the other day at the shopping center, and he still teaches after all theses years, i might get back into tkd if everything goes well in January, lose the 40 pounds i gained and get my black belt.
