maxing just isnt a matter of what day of the week...it involves, a base of lifting and a build up to a max...what have you done so far...??
that doesnt make much sense, nor respond to my question. I have been lifting for quite some time but have never done a 1 rep max. If i train chest wendesday then it probably wouldnt be smart for me to see my 1 rep max on thursday

well I would put the 1 rep bench max in the chest workout, 1 rep deadlift max in the back workout and so on. Just do a few warmup sets, hit the 1rm and then go back to the regular exercises.
