    my new cutting diet

since I am 200lbs, about 16% bf, 5'11, I am going to use the cutting sticky diet...just had one question....for PWO, i usually only have 1 cup oats with 2 scoops whey protein about 60 grms protein, 60 carbs...do i HAVE to double the carbs to 100? i dont use dex, and i shouldnt really have 2 cups of oats because the oats have 5 grms of fat per cup, so i figured 10 grms of fat is not good to mix with 100 grms carbs....is dex a must in any diet? what are my other alternatives for pwo? or is my pwo ok the way it is.....please help me out i need to get rollin and burn some fat!!!

Many recommend a mix of high and low GI carbs. No, don't do 2 cups and no, 10g of fat from oats wouldn't hurt you. If you decide to stick with one cup oats/2 scoops whey, that would be perfectly fine....even adding a banana would work well too.

Frosted flakes? I guess so, I wouldn't eat that, especially while cutting. I would have 1/2 cup-1 cup oats and 1/2-1 whole banana with your whey.

Depending upon training frequency and intensity one may not need to be in a hury to replenish glycogen post WO. Simply providing adequate protein and good quality fats as a fuel source can be just fine. although there IS the post work out window of improved insulin sensitivity... Many different ways to approach things!

I normally wait at least an hour before I eat digest anything after my workout We use this time to make and prepare dinner as its always a special time for fiancee and I. Life is just too short in my opinion to just scarf down oats and a shake without no company. I actually find a pleasure and simple enjoyment of preparing the flavorful, colorful meals we like to eat.

And of course eating dinner without haste and a little music in the background with good company sure does makes life great.

If you have oats in pwo1, what do you have for pwo2? Another low gi carb? Talk about a bunch of shit sitting in the gut. I use dex in pwo1 and it works great for me, not sure why people get away from high gi carbs pwo. You want it in/out quickly, at least the first pwo offering.

A lot of people swaying away from the dex thing. they say 50-80 grams of pure sugar is not good for you, anytime. I agree.

Yeah I notice after my PWO and my PPWO im full as shit and feel like ass...my PWO usually is 2 scoops of cyto-gainer, 1 scoop of whey, 1/2 banana and 1/2 cup of oats so its a wide variety of carbs...for PPWO ill sometimes have brown rice, half a sweet potatoe (8oz) or more oats with maybe some tuna or something.
