Sam Byrd did 1003lbs at 198...It's possible with a suit...these days it seems like anything is possible with a suit. Gaining 300lbs or more is crazy
dont be fooled the juice is flowing everywhere! some people are just not willing to admit it... no biggie to me its just reality.
i have met him a few times,i think thenumbers here are exagerated, i saw him at 2 different meets fail with 800lbs
And the DOC has spoken! Eye witness news doesn't lie
a bit hard to believe that some one has this kind of number on the squat w/o drugs

withtodays new equipment anything is possible with 2 plys of canvas and 2 plys of poly. i hate the new equipment, guys likeandy boloton en form squating just over a thousand to 1200lbs in less than 2 years timem there used to be like 3or 4 squaters over a grand, now every tom , dick and harry is squating a grand or more, hell we have guys pressing a rand who cant raw bench 600lbs!!! it is just stupidOriginally Posted by Fallen_Angel
becaa swanson was presin in the lhigh 300lbs low 400lbs several years ago, now she is over 550lb!!shawn fankl 220lbs just pressed 770, go back ten years ago , and anthony clark was doing that at SHW and that was the most ammt lifted by any man at that time. the euipmentis what got better, not the drugs not the training, just the equipment
i love to see guys like mike miller take off there equipment>mr 1220 squatand 800lb press
when he did the new england classic raw , he squated 600lb pressed 500 and deadlifted smoewhwere in the mid to high 600lb level at shw. big FCKN difference!!!!!
also on a side note big james is HUGE and it may be possible that he now can squat a grand
jst checked the wnpf web site, the highest squat by a SHW is 800lbs and it wasnt done by james, he does have the deadlift ecord with 730lbs
he does however have the single lift squat record with 755lbs equiped, that is a LONG shot from 1003lbs!!!
I agree anything is possible !! especially if u start with a natural gear...it is all in the "mind set"!! Think about man!?Originally Posted by space.ghost

leader 05, i have no idea what you mean, is it just me or does anyone else find it hard to understand the point? mentally less worried? natural gear? none of it make sense to me at least, please explain this in detail
if the press and squat are greatly helped by equipment, then what about the deadlift equipment??
th deadlift hasnt increased so fast as teh squat or the bench ,has it??
deadlift suit dont do much.some peol laim to get 50lbs or so out of them but i think they probably dont know what the can actualy do raw andare giving the suit a little to much credit,
i was wondering if wrapping knees actaully gives an advantage while deadlifting
Looks like Doc has a new best friend. lol j/kOriginally Posted by Doc.Sust
The few times I wrapped my knees I did feel like it made it easier for me to deadlift heavier weight.
