No taking more then 1mg will not yield better results the researches have concluded. As far as hairloss is concerned. Better to attack it from different angles rather taking more of the same. You can get dutasteride the same way you got finasteride. If you cant commit then might as well quit, for at least 1 year. That is what I come to understand from reading about the drug
