howdy, im approaching my 100 posts and really want to get a source checked, how do i go about doing this, are they helpfull.
im pretty sure i have a good lead, just want to make sure first.

I still think they should only do checks with 1,000 posts, 1 year of activity and prove their worth.

they will also find out what board has the most useful information as well.

so say someone who has done previous cycles(assuming they know what theyre doing and have the right stats) lost the only source they had so they came here and asked to get a source check for a source they just found you would deny them b/c they need to be here for a year and have 1,000 posts? i think they way it is now is just fine. mostly everyone that gets a source check done on here is tested with their knowledge based on the fact that they know how to run a proper cycle and have the right stats

then let them go there. the purpose if this board is not to help people find sources. 1000 and a year might be a little steep , but 100 or 45 days is way too little. also before a mod does the source check i hope they review some of the posts before deciding to help. going to the lounge and bumping 100 times should not be allowed or count as a post. vets and mods do this as a courtecy. its not a right. asking for a source check has to be earned.

yeah i now that i and i do truely appreciate it, as when they do it, it is purely done to help someone, like you said it is done as a favour, as its not like we pay a membership fee.
i have been to these other forums that are so open, but for some reason i seem to trust the members of this forum, more than any other forum.
what exactly do they do to check, is there a list of known scammers and they just check it through that.
