He's right, this is the solution to your problem. Only he took it too far, as expressed above clean shaven is way to obvious, but a crew cut leaving an inch on top would work. It might not put you above reproof, but this cut is an accepted style in your profession.
You see normal hair growth occurs at a typical rate of 1/3 to 1/2 inch per month. Granted, many factors can affect this growth rate including warm weather, blood circulation and nutrition to name a few, but your most pressing issue will be the phase of growth your hair was in during and directly following aas usage. This could prove pivotal since you're working with such a short period of time in three months (mid-July to mid-Oct.). But it's definitely worth a shot. Oh and if you pass I'll expect the first succeeding paycheck.
