    creatine and gear

for those who take creatine while juicing, do you still like to cycle it on and off like usual?

I was thinking about doing the same thing. Maybe if I stop taking it now at the beginning of my cycle then when I start the creatine again I will get more effects out of it.

Creatine is not bad. I ran it all year around and had some gains.

  9. #9
Creatine while on is a waste IMO, I mena who can really notice the difference when taking creatine on cycle when compared to without? Yer already gonna get 100x the gains from the cycle that you would from creatine so why waste your money? Creatine isnt that great anyway. $50 bucks for a tub of creatine coulda bought you 10ml of tren or npp.

    Water isn't a macronutrient.

Neither is chromium... nor any of the other minerals.

Neither are any of the vitamins

    Creatine is a micronutrient

Does the body get 'used' to it?

    Right.

Does the body get 'used' to conditionally non-essential amino acids?

Your question should be.. "Is there any visible benefit to staying on creatine while on steroids?"

The answer to that would be 'no'.

Now the unaswered question.. "Is there definate benenfit to staying on creatine if even on gear?"

    Of course.

I like cutting the creatine out of my diet, and starting it back up during PCT. I bloat extreamly easy on creatine, and it makes monitoring sides alittle more difficult, thus why I don't like using it.

But that's just my body, ALOT of members continue to stay on creatine throughout a cycle, and it seems to do them quite well.

I read some marketing study that claims that ribose is actually better than creatine, is that true folks? Anyone here ever used ribose instead of creatine, can tell us the difference?

Dude--Narkisisso--or whatever u name is (just kiddin')
I always find ur comments very negative. The rreason I brought ribose on table is because it is believe to be related to creatine in its effectiveness. So I thought the two substances are complementary like coke and pepsi. Now in what way was I hijacking this thread? Never mind I don't need u to answer this question--this thread is even not started by u. sorry dude

ummm, creatine is 1 of the few supps that has proven itself to be effective time after time, study after study. so imo take it all the time, on gear, off gear, whatever. it is now so cheap why wouldn't you? kinda like your multi-vitamin.

    re: "Kinda like your multi-vitamin"

In more ways than you may've realised actually.

    Creatine is multifaceted...

I find that guy's select supplements based on one facet solely... e.g. Vitamin C.. Some only add it when they bump training intensity.. or when it's cold and flu season... Not realising that Vitamin C is involved in so many bio-processes that it makes sense to supplement it (in base or supramaximal quantities) year round.

Creatine too influences a number of processes.

And.. while gear increases creatine synthesis...The increase isn't comparable to the serum values that additional supplementation will generate/maintain. Heck, some theorise that the increase in protein synthesis that gear precipitates increases creatine uptake..thus making co-administered creatine supplementation more effective...

    Think about it...

very nicely said. btw i don't have any idea what most guys pay for creatine, in fact it's soooo cheap, i don't know what i pay. of course i'm not talking about the newest, latest, greatest....ect. not buying into all that. to a point some of that advertised crap is true but who pays 4 or 5 times the price for a 1 or 2 % difference over 4 months?

not trying to be a prick but i just checked what i pay...brand name, 2000 grams=under 25 bucks. so if you take, say 10 grams ed...50 bucks should last you well over a year. that is less than 14 cents per day. doesn't seem to bad to me.

Oh and I take creatine On and Off...But thats only becuase I have large amounts of CE2 stockpiled. Don't ask.

I use Creatine whe "on" and during PCT. Use it year round taking breaks of 3-4 weeks every 3 or so months. Like it for its water retention and aid in gaining mass/strength.
