    Giant Short Faced Bear

    I found these to be pretty cool. Plus, I like bears.

    The giant short-faced bear was the biggest bear ever to have lived. Standing a 1.5 metres at the shoulder and equipped with powerful jaws this bear would have been an intimidating sight. Over 11Feet when standing!!!!!...weighs at 2000lbs

    What kind of bears are the other two? The middle looks like a polar bear, and the one in the front looks like a black or brown bear?

    How big is this bear compared to a grizzly?

    A grizzley is max, 850lbs, compared to the short face's 2000lbs.....that should give a little comparision.

    Grizzley average height is 6 feet....compared to the short face's 10-11 feet.......both standing that is.
