Thread: Over developed lower chest

    Over developed lower chest

I generally wear baggy/loose clothing so i cant see myself during my workouts then critique myself about once a month or so. Ive come to notice that when i wear tighter shirts it appears i have the infamous "man boob" which in fact is just all muscle. It appears i have ran away with my lower chest and my upper chest is lacking tremendously at this point.

What would be a good routine to jump start my uppper chest and should i totally quit with the lower chest workouts for the time being?

Ya your lower chest isnt OVER developed, your upper chest is just under developed thats all. just work on incline for a while in your workouts.

I have the opposite problem - I reckon it has a lot to do with genetics and technique in your lifting.

    Change the programme a little

ive switched my workout to all upper for the time being, will try it out for 3 months and check the results

4 sets incline db press 10/8/failure/failure
    3 sets incline flyes 8/failure/failure
    3 sets cable(concentrating on upper/inner) 8/8/failure

depending on how i feel and if i have a spotter

2-3 sets of incline bench or machine bench

How does this look for a upper chest workout?

And any exercises i could throw in to isolate inner( just under the collarbone)?

Standing cable flys. I have a similar problem. It's been good for this. Mix them in with every chest workout. Maybe super set with incline.
