Doc Sust,
I had bilateral meniscectomies in mid-August. With time, the inflammation in both knees went down, but recently my left popliteal cysts have swollen significantly. I was informed that my local orthopedic doctor could aspirate the cysts (both lower right posterior and upper left anterior cysts[both in left knee]). With my experience with pins and aspiration, I was debating doing it myself due to an urgent need for reduced inflammation, while anti-inflammatory meds, ice, and heat weren't working efficiently over time. Would you recommend doing this? If so, where is the aspiration(emphasizing the upper left anterior cyst)? Any help would be great appreciated. Thank you.
