i got this info:
*What size needle do I need?
The smaller the gauge the larger the needle.
22 or 23 Gauge, 1.5 Inch is ideal for injections into the glutes.
25 Gauge, 1.0 inch is ideal for injections into the quads and can be used for all spot injections.
25 Gauge, 5/8 inch is often used for tricep/bicep/delts

i went to 3 diff. local drug store and all i find are Insulin syringes....29,30 & 31
(these are readily available off the shelf)...are the sizes 22 & 25 available elsewhere in the store..do i need to ask for them?? what do i say they are for ?

Hey bro,The info you got was correct.You may have to ask for them cause they probably keep them behind the counter...you can say they are for B12 shots.I had a freind once say he needed them to inject his dog with medicine.

There are a few sites out there that are really good at getting them to you within a few days. They have any size you could want. I'm not sure if you can mention site names for accesories like that on here anymore so let me know if I can help.

oh, i see.. Well best bet would be to ask the pharmacist. Around here you can buy them in lots of 10 every 2 weeks.

If youre not in a hurry get them from one of the many medical supplies websites. They are dirt cheap to buy by the 100 and they turn up within a few days. Google it...
