Thats whats recomended 1 in, but depending on the size of the person, im sure you can use 1 1/2.. as far as the gauge it depends how fast you want to shoot..Originally Posted by drpza333
1" is preferred for quads. You're good to.
I use 1 1/2" for my quads as well. No prob there.Originally Posted by stuball
good stuff a 25 gauge is pretty skinny though may be hard to push through
Yeah it all depends on how many cc's your shootin...Originally Posted by ishot2pac69
Or how thick your gear isOriginally Posted by stuball
you can use 1" for delts, quads, glutes
you might want to step down to 1/2" for areas with thinner skin such tris and bi's
as far as gauge, 23 or 25 will work for all these locations....just gotta be patient with 25gauge....
i use 23 for delts/glutes & 25 for tri's
im going to switch up . will use 1" 20g into quads and stay with 1.5 glutes 20g . should syringe b used more than once it seems to me no more than what they cost it might b smart not 2 . what do u think ? thanks
Whoa, 20 gauge in quads ???? And never reuse syringes or needles, they are like 20 bucks for 100..Originally Posted by drpza333
I don't think you'll like the 20g pin too much...I stick with 23g for all oil-based compounds. If you decide to go with the 20g anyway, I'd watch the pace of your injection...20g could allow you to shoot too quickly.Originally Posted by drpza333
Oh, and I saw a recent thread here somewhere about reusing your syringes...DON'T.
Good luck,
