    Tren Cough

I'm currently about 4 1/2 weeks in to my second Tren (plus, of course, Test) cycle in about 18 months.

My last cycle was strictly Tren E and it worked beautifully. This time around I'm running 75mgs Tren A and 75mgs Parabolan EOD (Stealth product -- a wonderful thing, btw).

Two days ago, after a glute injection I had my first occurrence of Tren cough. If I hadn't already read about it on this message board it would have been even scarier than it already was.

Earlier today, with only slight bit of trepidation after my earlier experience, I did another glute injection and wouldn't you know it ... Tren cough Part 2.

So anyway, I'm getting slightly nervous about this. I can't help but wonder if it's more than just coincidence that the cough is starting right about the time that the Parabolan I've been taking would be kicking in. Does anybody have any thoughts on this?

For no reason that I can easily put into words I did get the distinct impression that I may have nicked a vein. Perhaps it was the slightly greater volume of blood than usual, or maybe it was the odd, slightly alcoholic, slightly metallic foreboding taste in my mouth that brilliantly foreshadowed the hacking hell to come.

I'm actually at the point where I'm considering (just considering) discontinuing all my Tren. Assuming I don't move in this direction, however, does anyone have any thoughts on how best to avoid another instance of this?

Any thoughts or opinions on this would be highly appreciated.

    Regards,
    franklin

funny you mention the Tren cough. This is my 3rd run with Tren A, and Im on about week 12 of 150/ed.(plus prop at the same dose) Never had the cough that so many talked about. However, a week ago when I had my arm up on the dryer to do a delt shot, I got this very strange painful feeling from my chin straight down. through my chest and throat. It kinda hurt actually. I got all hot like I sometimes do, but paid no attention...yesterday, when it came time for another delt shot, same side, I got it again.. Dont know if its the dreaded cough trying to grab me or what. never happens with glutes or bi's though......

i,m sure the cough is caused by rapid absoption of the tren and the drug hitting the pulmonaryt curculation ( lungs) quickly, hence you would be right in that if u are close to ot nick a vein you are more likely to get symptoms. the best way to avid this is a) aways aspirate on you srynge before injecting b) inject slowly c dont go for a quad inkection which is very vascular muscle go for the upper and outer quadrant of the buttock,, not so much miscle there hence slower absorption. dont give up on the tren,,, great stuff

Yeah, as many times as I've heard it suggested I've never really gotten into the habit of aspirating before an injection. I'm currently only injecting in my quads and glutes (I'm still a little nervous about delt injections) but have only had this occur after glute shots.

The problem is that the cough just feels so incredibly unhealthy (not to mention it worries the hell out of my already slightly juice-skittish fiance). I'm not a young guy any more (33 as of my last count) and while I do understand the risks inherent in juicing, something like this cough, which no one really seems able to completely explain, is just the sort of thing that if I can't control may keep me away from the Tren until my next life.

    Still unsure ...

one thing you can try to reduce the cough after injection is use smaller gauge needles as it may reduce the chance of nicking a vein on the way in, and reducing the amount of tren that would enter the bloodstream if you do nick a vein...I personally don't mind the cough itself, only when I get the fast beating heart and start sweating is when it freaks me out a little.....but it''s happened to most of us and we're still kickin so I wouldn't be worried. Kind of comes with the territory...know what I'm sayin'!

well your asking about Tren.. so... Its VERY good. Im the leanest Ive ever been..Judging by pics of other members, Im taking a guess at...10%... Im sure I was around 15 when I started 3 months ago.I personally take really long to show results, even with short esters.. 12 weeks later, I look in the mirror while lifting, and I can actually say I see a difference. My traps, although not huge by any means whatsoever, have really shown better than ever before for me. Thats where I see it. That and my shoulders..When the wife pointed out the bi's the other day, I measured them like I did 90 days ago, and I can honestly say they are almost an inch bigger. For me thats a record in this time frame.. But I will only be running it for another month.. 16 weeks is too long for some, but for me its my personal limit for gains, so I will end it then.. Then its on to the GH.....

yeah I ALWAYS aspirate.. since the one time i pulled the pin out and it shot about a foot, which was no big deal, until it hit the wifes work sweater...
Jeez I can still hear her yelling. plus she got all grossed out and stuff..LOL
And I think your right.. It does feel like its right in my lungs.. What a terrible feeling.. Then the hot flush cuz you think your calfing or something..But I dont cough....
Funny its only my left delt though, not my right....
I might just try to avoid it for the next few weeks till Im done....

Man i want to give tren a try bad but might go with dianbol. I read Tren can have A LOT of sides but i know everyone is different. I read the ten profile and it sounds AWESOME.

you know what, this time around I hardly have any sides...well, compared to the last two anyways..not much acne, like maybe a zit or two or 5 at the most, last time I had TONS on my back.. Same night sweats though.. that is a given with Tren.. if you dont like em, you wont like the stuff.....I personally love it cuz I can feel the fat burning off..
Agression....It makes itself VERY PRESENT... Its been the same all 3 cycles... You have to be smart, thats all..instead of throwing a hatchet at the wife cuz theres no pepper on your sweet potatoes, you turn your head, then turn around again and say " you look really nice today dear" LOL..
It is easily controlled. VERY easily. If you have any hint of a bad temper, i would suggest not doing it, or be ready to stop immediately if it becomes a problem....

haha my temper is bad but i can still control it. I have to give myself times outs and i am getting good at it.

I was going to use tren on my next cycle (coming off test e now) to lean out a bit but i might just say F*** it and bulk until i get bigger then cut when i am happy. I feel i am too light still so i want to add lbs not take them off. My BF is only around 12-15 percent. Really only around the stomach and no where else (thanks genes). I might run another test e which i like because i get so side. I figure i would bump up the dosage on the test e then put dianbol in for a jump start and for some added strength. I read that dianbol doesn't retain a lot of water (cross fingers).

Tren cough and fat burning explained by Pheedno
Tren- Fat burning and "fina cough" both from prostaglandin metabolization Posted on AR & IBB as well-

It's been widely disussed of Trens fat burning properties through rises in IGF and Prostaglandins. While IGF is a fairly well known substance in the bodybuilding world today, prostaglandins are fairly unknown in terms of formation and roles in the body.
So below, a brief dicription of prostoglandins and their role in fat burning, "fina cough", and why a person going through Tren administration can experience it's fat burning effects without the dreaded "Cough"

The term prostaglandin comes from the word-Prostate. The first prostoglandins were first dicovered in semen about the mid 1930's and it was thought that prostaglandins were made from the prostate. Since this time, it has been dicovered that most prostaglandins are not even constructed in the prostate.

Prostaglandins are made by two different pathways(Cyclooxygenase and Lipoxygenase), and considering prostaglandins are a group of about 20 lipid cells, they have contrary function; responsible for stimulating as well as alleviating inflammation(Inflammation stimulation is the rapid metabolism of them expelled through the bronchials), regulate blood flow to particular organs, control ion transport across membranes, modulate synaptic transmission, induce sleep, mediate lipid release, and regulate metabolism is various tissue.

Prostaglandins are synthesized from arachidonate(Lipoxygenase which catalyze the dioxygenation of polyunsaturated fatty acids) in the cell membrane by the action of phospholipase A2. Cyclooxygenase and lipoxygenase pathways, compete with one another to form prostaglandins(as well as thromboxane or leukotriene-leukotriene being a bronchial stimulator),
In the cyclooxygenase pathway, the prostaglandins D, E and F plus thromboxane and prostacyclin are made. Thromboxanes are made in platelets and cause constriction of vascular smooth muscle and platelet aggregation
Leukotrienes are made in leukocytes and macrophages via the lipoxygenase pathway. They are potent constrictors of the bronchial airways. They are also important in inflammation and hypersensitivity reactions as they increase vascular permeability.

Being that prostaglandins from either pathway, are still fatty acids of a group, they mediate lipid release and controll tissue metabolization, so fat burning is a luxerry of either pathway of formation. It's the pathway from which they are constructed that dictates "fina cough". As prostaglandins made from the Cyclooxygenase pathway dictate muscle constriction and platlet aggregation, and the Lipoxygenase pathway dictates bronchial constriction(the main form of expulsion)

Just because you're using tren doesn't mean you are going to get a cough...I ran tren 2x before I came down with a helluva coughing fit my 3rd run with the stuff.

As far as when to shoot, I don't think it really matters what time of the day you're going to do it...whether it be day or night, the stuff is going to be steady in your body for several days after that particular injection, in which case you should have already done another injection or so to keep levels stable.

    Hope this helps,

Currently using a 23g. In the past I've used 25's but was always so paranoid I'd twitch and the pin would break off in my muscle. Nevertheless, point well taken.

Yeah I hear you, Bro. I just hate having another thing to worry about.

Anyway, going forward, I'm going to aspirate religiously and pull out and change pins at any sign of blood (assuming I can see it through the B12 I'm cutting my juice with).

Anyway, thanks for all the advice and moral support. It really does help.

this by prague he thinks you can fix the cough this way

NAC and a lot of GLA should get rid of the cough if Prostaglandins are whats causing it. The inflammatory prostaglandins such as arachidonic acid are formed through the COX-2 pathway which stuff like asprin inhibits.

The EFA GLA also inhibits this formation, so in high doses it should be effective in reducing it. But that would probably also reduce protein synthesis to some degree.

    What is it?
efa= Essential Fatty Acid Supplements and gla =
    Gamma Linoleic Acid

N-acetyl cysteine (NAC) is an altered form of the amino acid cysteine, which is commonly found in food and synthesized by the body.

    Gotcha. Thanks.

So are you perhaps suggesting taking N-acetyl cysteine supplements along with Tren?
