    Vial Stopper Leaked

    I can;t believe I did this.

I grabbed a fresh vial of prop, not realizing I've neve drawn from it before. I injected .5cc of air into it, and the stopper popped up for a second and a small amount of oil leaked down the side of the vial.

The stopper popped right back into place once the air pressure got out.

Do you think my whole 40ml vial is contaminated now?

    I'm so pissed right now.

That all depends on the workspace you where using, was it clean and sterile? Was the bottle wiped down before use? I'd have a hard time beleiving its contaminated if nothing touched it...

everything was pretty sterile, and I wiped everything down with an alcohol swab immediately after the leak occured. I hope it is OK. That'd be a lot of wasted gear

I'd Filter it and put it in a new sterile vile. Thats just me though and I'm kind of paranoid about stuff like that, but you can never be too carefull.
