    Spin Class while cutting???

Is it okay do a spin class some days instead of cardio while cutting, or would it be best to do cardio in the mourning and spin in the afternoon? Just wondering...

Also if the spin class is at 5:30 PM, and I do this instead of mourning cardio, is it okay to lift weights before the spin class?

I would say that it depends on the intensity level of the spin class. Most of them keep you in 80% or more of your max heart rate, which can definitely help you lose serious muscle. Make sure you have a heart rate monitor. As for post workout cardio although many here say you need to take food in ASAP after weights, I have been doing cardio PWO and have not lost any muscle, I however only walk on a treadmill.

I usually hit cardio on treadmill incline around 6:30 AM, but the lady that does the spin class begs me to do it, but I will stay away from it.

I go to a spin class once in a while for cardio training purposes only. Which means; I'll do my fasted cardio in the morning and take a spin class at night after a meal so I'm burning mostly the food I just consumed. It's something I enjoy so I do it and it hasn't hindered my dieting plans.

edit: I'm also not a pro body builder nor do I ever plan on being one. I'm here for the great advice from everyone here on the board so I can stay in shape and learn a lot.

You can do ti bro, no worries. I would just make sure to eat some carbs before hand so that you can prevent muscle loss, cause I'm fairly sure that the intesity of Spin classes is high.
