    AC Joint not healing properly

Hey Doc if you remember I posted about my ac joint ways back that it was separated. I took it easy now for at least 8 months now with just doing high reps and even have been on HGH for at least 6 months now to help it heal.

There really isnt any point but discomfort at times but it seems like my shoulder isnt tight. More like my ligaments are stretched permanently and thats just how my shoulder is gonna be unless I get surgery done. When I went to see an ortho earlier this year he said I would be fine just dont do anything that hurts which I did.

Does it make sense that my ligaments are stretched out permanently? I am thinking of going to get an MRI and possibly surgery. Wouldn't the surgery make me better than before? I guess I wont know till I get the MRI to see what is really wrong now.

get an mri they might do an arthogram to see whats wrong with your shoulder, it might not be your ac but you could have a small tear in your labrum. just speaking from exp.

Yea I am definitely getting an mri done. I got an xray previously and from what the radiologist and the ortho said I had a slight separation of my ac joint about 1mm. By now I think its more than that so only an mri will tell.
