    Talking Eating Liver?

Last week my 43 year old co worker and friend was diagnost with colon cancer, we are not sure how extended the cancer is and i hope that its not too late, he has been a dear friend of mine for 3 years now.

I am 34, my father died last year of colon cancer and my grand father survived colon cancer he was 64 when i got the operation.

I am at high risk and got my first colonoscopy in October with everything coming out fine.

After this and all the stress went away i want on a junk food spree, sugar, pizza, pepperoni and all.

After earing for my friend and really always feeling tired and washed out i decided to get back into healthy eating, i guess i needed a break and junk food was my way out.

My girlfriend is a great cook, she got me eating salmon, shrimps, liver once a week, all veggies and fruits. Sencha Green tea with curcuma and black pepper.

I was wondering since eating liver makes me feel so damn good how many people here eat liver once a week?

yeah, too much liver and you get vitamin a toxicity. When you eat liver at all, you should limit other foods that have vitamin a.

They normally get made for the month of November for Independence day celebrations.. but I've been eating 'em since October. That's when my grandmum started to make 'em for export to the UK.

Honestly if it coudl survive shipping i'd send it up.

She ships stuff like conkies; sweatbread; cassave pone.. other bajan delicacies.. Generally stuff with a reasonable shelf-life.
