i've been confused when measuring my brown rice for carb meals. box says serving size 1/2 cup 33 grms carbs uncooked but makes about 1 cup cooked....so if all i want is one 33 grm serving I cook it and fill up one full cup?

Just do what it says. If it says 1/2 cup uncooked is 33g then thats what it is. Even after you cook it, it may be 1 cup, but there is still only 33g because you only put in 33g.
it just seems like a lot of rice even though they say 1 cup cooked is 33 grms
1 cup is 44 grams btw
3/4 cooked is 33 grams
