    dextrose

    i am around 15% bf trying to loose my spare tyre, never taken dextrose before should i start taking dextrose with this amount of bf when go on aas.

    You can if you want, it will more be a matter of your overall daily kcal intake not the fact that you use dextrose. But definitely be sparring.

    If you have never taken dextrose before I se no reason to start....AAS or not dextrose isnt realy needed.

    C.Bino and Johan are exactly right. I was encoraged to take it. For me, it helped with size but made it REALLY hard to cut. Basically its 300 extra calories that you will need to take off somewhere else. Where u gunna take it from? Yer protien meal? That would be counter productive.

    Make sure that you are doing cardio every day and get most of your calories from protien and I think it will be eaier for you to lose your spare tire.

    Dextrose are you talking about a supplement? or the sugar dextrose which is another name for glucose.

    so ur cutting atm i take it mate?

    how about taking the dextrose pwo and reducing other carbs throughout the day.

    eg.
    Pre breakfast cardio.
    meal 1 low gi carbs for breakfast/lean protein

    meal 2 lean protein/fat

    meal 3 lean protein/fat

    WORKOUT

    meal 4 PWO lean protein/80g dextrose

    meal 5 lean protein/low gi carbs

    meal 6 lean protein/fat

    the 80g dextrose is just an example, but i believe the majority of your daily carbs should be at breakfast and here. its worked for me so far.

    adjust the macros according to your weight, age, height etc. keep protein around generally 1 - 1.5g per lb of bodyweight, from as many solid sources as possible as they will serve u better than simply chugging shakes left right and centre.

    as for macros, i generally follow a protein 50%, carbs 35%, fats 15% split.
