Proviron = Hair Loss??

What up? I have heard from a couple of people who have used Proviron, that it makes your hair fall out like crazy. Now I know there are many people on here who dont care to lose their hair but I defintaly want to keep mine.

I am looking for some feedback from someone who knows if using Finasteride and Saw Palmetto during a Test Cyp(400mg/wk for 10wks) + Proviron(25mgs/day for 12-13 wks) + Nolvadex(10mg/day for 10-12wks) + (possibly D-Bol 50mg/day for 5-6 wks would be alright????

I am not sure if using Finasteride while administering this many compounds during a cycle is ok or not??? I am going to do a cycle of clen for 8 wks before I start my cycle but I am just looking for some advice for when I start this cycle next year. I have already purchased the Finasteride so I do not really want it to just go to waste. Any advice/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I am using 50mg proviron ed and has been for a while.

Well as Finastride blocks type-II 5-AR enzymes, the one responsible for hairloss, reducing your DHT levels by around 65%, so yes add it if hairloss is a concern.

Ok, I just wasnt sure if it would affect any of the other compounds in my cycle in a negative way. Do you have any idea on the daily dosaging of Finasteride in a cycle?? Thanks

1 mg ed is used for normal test levels. Since you are doing 400 mgs/week I would advise you to do 2-2,5 mgs ed. Anyway, it would just help you with the test, it will do nothing in what concerns Proviron, since it is already a dht derivate. But i wouldn't worry much, since Proviron, as far as i know never made no one loose hair (look at me, i am very prone to mpb and never lost excess hair on it). The only thing you have to watch with finasteride is: DON'T MIX IT WITH DECA.

Is that a question or am I just missing something here? No doubt. I also believe that the side effects are very dose relative but I figured since I am kind of prone to MPB that I would find out a little bit more because I am rather worried. Thanks for the info Skipp

I've used Proviron on a Prop test cycle. No problems with it at all. Great stuff for keeping the libido CRAZY!

Well you naturally have DHT in your body, so if you take duta/fina you will lower that amount of natural DHT. Then you take exogenous DHT and you're probably still about your natural level, but not as far as you'd be with endo and exogenous.

On the other hand, some studies have shown that DHT converts to a much less anabolic substance when excess is in the body, in that case it would also be beneficial to take duta/fina to help keep the exogenous DHT (proviron) from converting and becoming useless.

you can't use propecia while on deca because you will prevent nandrolone from converting to dihydronandrolone which is much milder on the scalp than nandrolone.

Alright. So basically, when taking the finasteride and the Proviron, they would be cancelling eachother out, therefore not allowing the body to convert into an EXCESSIVE amount of DHT.... I think I get what your saying. So yea it would definately be beneficial on my part. Thanks for the info. Very informative.

i have another question for some of you.

When I do start my cycle... would it be better if i started taking the Proviron a couple of weeks before the dbol and test?? I am going to be taking Proviron and Nolvadex throughout my cycle but I heard/read somewhere that taking them a little while before the d-bol and test woule be the best thing to do?? If somebody could help me out, that would be great. Thanks

That's a good idea. You give prov and nolva enough time to fully develop their levels before adding aromatizable compounds.

With that amount of test I would only run proviron at 50 mg ed. Keep the nolva in hand just in case, or save for the pct.

Well, I was goint to run the Proviron @ 25mg/ed throughout and the Nolva @ 10mg/ed throughout b/c I believe that I am Gyno Prone. Do you really think that I should up the Proviron to 50mg/ed????

Also, I meant that since I am going to start my Proviron and Nolva before I start my CYP Injections - How long before my TEST Inj. should I start administering the Proviron and Nolvadex (a week before, a couple of days before, ect.....???) Thanks for the help.

If you are gyno prone then you are right to run both proviron and nolva. If you are so concerned about it you can always run an AI instead (aromasin, letro, arimidex) which are much more efficien in reducing overall estrogen, although I think proviron and nolva are more than enough, besides, proviron has lots of advantages as you can easily find with a little research (which probably you've done). I think 1 weeks is more than enough for proviron and nolva fully develop in your system.

thanks copperhead. How exactly did you run your test winny cycle??(how long, @ ? dosages, when did you incorporate the substances into your cycle)?
Same goes for your prop/winny/var cutter... how exactly did you do that cycle? I am just trying to get some ideas on some different cycles and how to run them... Especially short cycles

Also, I heard that using Finasteride during cycle can hinder gains.... in your opinion, do you think this is true? Thanks for your info.

Again, just tossing these up here from memory. Might not be dead on. Also, not saying they are the best cycles to run.... just basically what I did. Well, did you get good results from either or both??? So you always run your Proviron all of the way through PCT then?? Did those HCG dosages help you alot?? Thanks for posting those though man. It helps. Oh, do you get regular blood work done though??? I saw that you were running at least 2 orals @ the same time during both cycles (including proviron) did that effect your liver pretty badly??? Thanks for all of the info and for posting those. It helps.
