Foreseealbe problems with daily tunafish consumption?

Ive been playing with my diet lately trying to change some things around for my health and gains. I really love these tunafish packets on the market. Im getting the lower sodium ones, and the fats in these things is awesome! esp the ones in sunflower oil. should improve my cholesterol alot.

im just worried about the media hype about mercury and other contaminants. On the other hand, if i ate chicken and protein shakes instead of tuna what kind of contaminants would i be getting then? seems the human food supply is tainted.

If I did that right, 8oz of canned tuna is over the limit for 1 week. If so thats scary, cause I usually eat about 6-8 cans a week. Thats not including salmon and other fish I eat. I think that chart would put alot of people over the limit.

Dude I am the same way. I consume 2-3 servigs of tuna every day. I have read that albacore carries more mercury and I prefer the chuck light anyway. I have never read any article correlating someones specific ailment to too much tuna. Perhaps someone has this information and can post it here.

I try to swithc it up, but tuna is cheaper by the gram than most other sources. I wish I could afford to eat steak more than every once in a while.

If you buy half a cow or buffalo steaks come out to around 5$/lb.

You drop a lot of money initially but if you can find a few ppl to go in on it together it's not bad at all.

I got 300lbs Beefalo for 1600$ to my door.

Yep, you're missing out, makes you not even want to eat steak after you'd had it.

Tuna is usually about 1.70-1.90 per pound making it quite a bit cheaper...Although chicken breast is usually about 2 bucks a pound and you can go to a butcher and get it for 1.50.

    lol no doubt

Yea but there is something about beef and how the body responds to it.
If you wanna pack on dense LBM you gotta eat redmeat IMO. It's also great to eat while dieting.

    Variety is key.
