I've done it before...though I felt full all day it is definitely doable if need be.
every 2.5 to 3 hours for me.
Oh boy... another one..

That's why you look so good, Nark. Can you imagine what you'd look like if you nibbled....say.....every 8-10 seconds?!?!?
^^ Gosh.. i'd be ronnie

Who has time to eat eveyr 2hrs? Get a life LOL
^^![]()
you guys are brutal.
LMAO!!! I eat every 2.5 to 3 hours...used to actually set the alarm on my watch to go off every 3 hours to make me eat....after awhile ya get used to the force feedings and now by the 3rd hour my stomach is howling for food...
Ya I eat sometimes every two hours, its not a directly SET thing, but definitely happens considering I gotta eat when I can at school, so between classes it definitely turns out to be every 2 hours. But then there are times I almost go 4 hours due to f*ckin school as well. 7 Meals a day is good for me.
Usually every 2.5 however lately I've been getting hungry after 1.5-2. I'd split it up so that you can get all your days worth of macros in 6-7 meals spaced evenly throughout the day.
Its pretty hard to get on a strict eating diet of every two hours. I found myself cooking alot so now I cook alot of chicken at once and nibble on it for days.
I do every 3...6 meals, thats hard enough as is it...3500-3800 cals as well...
Ive been going every 2 up until training........thats from 630am to 430pm 5 meals, then a pw meal, then a prebed on your pillow snack......sometimes one more at midnight or 2am......so so 8 good meals........three pro and fat
2-3 hours....if i feel hungry before 3 hours my body is telling me something so i eat...
ROFL @ Nibble every 10 seconds
No way...the way to do it is..
1. breakfast
2. lunch
3. dinner
a. dessert
mmm![]()
when im home not doing shiat its usually every 2. 4hrs at most if im at school or something....
it kinda sucks since im cutting and barley eat 200g carbs a day. so if i go to long without eating i get tired as fvckkk
200g consider yourself LUCKY.....I get maybe 100 cuttin....
Carbs don't make you fat, calories do.
ok....i realize that...but why do we cut carbs and increase fats precontest?
^^ "We"
LMAO...who's "we"?
haha
Oh so now nibbling is funny eh ?
Just today I nibbled 2 chicken breast for 1 hour at work. So pretty much i'd nibble one little fiber piece of that breast every 5 sec.
I nibble food every day.
Usually I eat every 2 - 2.5 hours.

^^ macro ratios don't change.
Only overall kcal-count
^^e.g.
45 % carb 40% pro 15 % fat.. .will result in different totals @ 2400 kcal maintenance than it will at 1800 kcal maintenance.
Carbs per se are not 'controlled'... as 'maintenance' changes so do the totals of the individual macronutrients.. but not the relationship (i.e. the ratio) of the individual macros.

Ahh i assumed from your first post you were refering to grams not percentages
^^ Nah.. gr totals are irrelevant.
Kcal totals however are not.
You'd have to play with the percentages to find out how your body responds obviously but I agree with Nark.
You'll notice many old school BB'ers had this same school of thought although they didn't follow the ideas of the mainsteam but yet always came in shredded.
Agreed.. Those were just random percentages tossed up there by the way.Originally Posted by I**mfkr

Furthermore a lot of oldschoolers didn't make dietary adjustments precontest.
They only adjusted expenditure. (i.e. training intensity etc.)
One of friends who just turned pro used to tell me when i first started competing: "Food is the last variable i adjust"
He'd up intensity.. up cardio.. up posing.. and drop food in that order.
Incrementally of course.
If fat loss stagnated when intensity went up.. cardio would be implemented/increased... When fat loss started to slow again.. 30 minutes posing would be tossed in.. When a plateau was reached... frequency of one or more of the above variables would be increased.
In the very latter stages, food intake would be manipulated.
And he always came shredded.
A lot of guys in my country use this regime.
Those that've gone the pro/fat route like mags advertise...they get in shape, but their muscles never get as full upon the carb up.. Or they have a flaccid unhealthy look. I have seen a lot of the NPC guys with this same short coming.
Carbs are not the enemy.
