    unemployed

    after 25 years of firefighting.....i have turned in my badge and bunker gear...i am retired.........my old crew cooked lunch for me today, there was apx 50 of my firefighting bros that came to wish me off. i had mixed emotions. anyways i am a unemployed bum. i plan to spend the next few months as a full time gym rat.....and doing a full blown cycle....before i venture out back into the work force....

    That will be nice to have a break. After I got out of the Marines I took 4 months off, before I started school. I was FVCKING bored out of my mind!!!! I should have just taken a month off.

    im so f'n jealous... that would be so pimp.. but being a firefighter u get alot of time to realy focus on training/diet/aas from wat i see from all my friends got 3 buddies who are FF'rs and compete big time they say its best job for their lifestyle.

    Thanks for your service for 25 years!! Like many others have said, now is the time to do the things you didn't have time for, and to spend more of it with your loved ones!!

    Congrads, I have a lot of respect for firefighters. I have two family members that are doing it. Its a great career, enjoy your time
