    Forarm exercises for wrist pain?

Will strengthening your forarms help prevent wrist pain/tendinitis? I have been lifting for years, but I never do forarm work. I am tall, but I have a pretty small frame with small wrists. I have wrist pain sometimes and it is a biaaatch!

if you have wrist pain/tendonitis you should ice your wrists expecially after training. this will help greatly, also wear wrist strap or some type of wrist guard if you can.

I'm not asking if forarm work will fix my tendinitis. I've been icing/heating it for a while. What I'm wondering is if were doing flexion/extension exercises for my forarms before I messed up my wrist, would that have made me less likely to injure it?

the flex extension exercise could not hurt, but most of all you need a solid pair of wrist wraps.

You think these would help on bench and curls? These are the main times it hurts. A few days ago I couldn't even do a pushup without pain. It wasn't really the pain part which was keeping me from doing it so much as the "I'm going to make this worse" part.

im in the exact same situation as you. i keep takin a couple days off then going back to the gym and realize that i didnt take enough time off. i have poor workouts cause im also afraid of making it worse. My friend uses those wrist straps and says they work good. its good to take time off every now and then. you're probably like me where u hate it cause u feel like your getting samller and weaker and depressed. I dont want to but im gonna take like 2 weeks off and ease back in to it and get my own pair of those strap as well. i friggin hate gettin injured.
