it will work the muscles fibers but i wouldnt imagine it would do a lot of good for size compared to what squats could do

I would consider more cardio than strenght training.
i am shreded the next morning after snowboarding. i plan to use it as cardio this winter.

I find that, when I dont snowboard regularly, it really makes my quads and hams really sore because Im not used to it. Yet It builds endurance and to a certain degree strength but isnt good for hypertrophy. Personally because I play a lot of hockey and occasionaly snowboard during January and Febuary, I cut down on leg training a little, albeit not completly.
if only it was that easy!.... i counted laying subfloor on a 5,000 square foot house my back day two weeks agobut i think it was justifiable
