proactiv is great, my whole family uses it, but it didnt come close to helping me with the bacne

I tried it, but it didn't help me much. The problem with acne during a cycle is that it has a hormonal cause. I wasn't able to get mine to clear up until I went to a doc for an antibiotic. That being said, I've had good results with it when I was off-cycle.

I wasn't too impressed with proactiv, but I think its just one of those individual difference things. I know a lot of people who had really good results with it. I just hated putting all that shit on my face everyday. I just use noxema wipes and that works for me.

Nizoral Shampoo - anti-androgenic (use as a bodywash) daily on acne prone areas including the face works for me so far. Multiple showers and the use of witch hazel/astringent products work great to keep the skin clean.

It works well - just make sure you don't have sensitive skin. Especially the scrub, with little particles in it, that can be irritating and cause more harm than good. Get this book, I promise it will help: "The Skin Type Solution" by Leslie Baumann, MD. Wear sunscreen!!!

I tried it when I was younger and it did nothing for my acne.

Accutane was the only thing that helped back then...

It's $21 for a month supply, but then you gotta remove your credit card from the buyer list or else they continue to send you it and charge it
