Type one diabetes and using steroids I need info
Hi I'm not sure if anyone can help me i'm just wanting to find out as much as I can about Type 1 insulin diabetes and taking steroids.
My boyfriend is really wanting to start taking steroids and my opinion is if that is what he wants to do I can't stop him.
I'd just like to know the risks involved and how I can support him.
He has High blood preassure on the high side of cholesterol is about 5 foot 8 and already weighs 92kgs he is already quite big for his height.
I'm just wondering what the side effect will be and If i need to prepare myself for extra Hypo's or Hyper's.
Is it safe and should he be consulting a Dr (which is not easy to tell him to do)
If any one has any information I would appreciate it so muchm as this is new to me and I can't lie I am a little worried.
