    23 yr.old Newbie

    I am 23 yrs. old
    5'8"
235 pounds. (begining of the year I was 250)

I used to work-out some when I was in school and started back again this year when I got on my diet. I am wanting to get down to around 200 and stay in shape and have a more toned look. Using diet pill just doesn't work, I will loose some weight over a little time then it just stops. I have been looking into using a cutting cycle. And am reading more and more about it each day.

    Welcome to AR

Do you know your bodyfat % at 235??

Looks like the first step before considering steroids would be to get your diet in line , as it needs to be even more strict when on steroids

You can find great cutting diets in the Diet Forum, that should be a great help to you for now. Then when you get you bodyfat % down to under 15, we can look at a cutting cycle to help even more

No, I don't know what my body fat is yet. My diet as of now mainly consists of oatmeal for breakfast, lunch usually some grilled chicken or a salad, and supper grilled meat, either chicken or a steak, and a salad. And I drink water all day long. I also go for a mile walk every morning and at night & workout 3 days a week when I get home from work.

OK, there is your first problem....you need to eat whole meals and more of them. you want 6-8 small meals everyday spaced about 2.5-3 hours apart, this will increase your metabolism, burn more fat all day, and not store fat because you are not starving your body with only 3 meals

go get a book by Chris Aceto called "Everything You Want To Know About Fatloss" It will help you out and check out AR's Diet Forum and read everything. I just gave you the basics, there is a ton more details to it

The problem with the 6-8 small meals is that I can't do that at work. So, I am pretty much limited to how many times I can eat. I work from 7am-4pm with an hr. lunch. I can eat like a snack while I am there unitl lunch and then after lunch I could have another snack, but that's all that I would have time for at work.

well, where there is a will there is a way. You could pack a little cooler and take two Meal Replacement shakes and have them as needed,

For my contest, I had to adjust my lifestyle to meet the commitment, that meant cooking all my meals ahead of time and getting the next days meals ready the night before. carrying a cooler of food with me everywhere i had to go etc.....

It's not easy, and that is why most of the USA is overweight.
