    whole wheat

I have a problem with whole wheat. If I eat stuff like oatmeal, whole wheat bread and pasta I get a bad stomach. I have to go to the toilett many times. Ok, not many times but if I have eating one cup of oatmeal I have to go to the toilett 2 times in like an hour and sometime if I have eating whole wheat bread I have to go to the toilett 2 or 3 times.
Is there someone else here that have this problem?
Is there something I can do to about it, can I take any medicin or do my stomach just get used to it in time?
Or should I go on a keto diet?

if you are getting problems with oats as well as wheat then your problem is unlikely to be a wheat allergy. I would go to the doctor.

How long have you been on your whole wheat type of diet? Whenever I switch from white to whole wheat it hits me for a few days then my body adapts.

try eating gluten free foods for a while (expensive and only found at natural food stores) and see if your stomach handles them. My wife is a bit gluten intolerant and even oats have an ill effect on her. Definitely check out a doctor and see if you can get a full allergy test that includes all types of foods. That will help pin point the problem.

I don´t eat much whole wheat now. The last months I have eaten yoghurt and cereals for breakfast and whole wheat rice and vegetables for the other meals. It is better for my stomach to eat those kind of carbs than the oatmeal, whole wheat bread and pasta. Before I hade the "whole wheat" diet for at least 6 months but then I switched to less whole wheat.
I´m going to lose fat before the summer so I´m going to eat oatmeal instead of yoghurt. I´m going to start to eat half a cup of oatmeal so I get used to it.

If you have an allergy to wheat and/or gluten.. then just eating it and getting used to it is a beyond retarded approach. you have bowel/stomach issues because your body can't digest it - therefore its pointless attempting to consume it.. your current issues are just the beginning. There are plenty of alternatives, Oats are not by any means the be all and end all of good carbs.

I don´t know if I am allergic to it. I guess I have to talk to a doctor and find out.
If I want to lose bodyfat I have do eat carbs from food that is high in whole wheat, right?
I don´t get a bad stomach if I eat half a cup of oatmeal but I get it when I eat 1 cup or more.

No, thats wrong. If you want to lose bodyfat.. you need to increase output and decrease input. ie, eat less, add exercise.

choosing food on a good ratio of macros is important to get the most 'bang for your buck'.. protein to support muscles, carbs for energy, and fats.. umm.. can't remember whats that for but its important nonetheless.

If you can't eat whole wheat stuff, don't just suffer - there are plenty of alternatives that are just as good. you clearly have an issue with Oats. SO DON'T EAT THEM. choose rice, sweet potato, quinoa. rice is going to be easiest.. you can get cream of rice or flaked rice, make that into a porridge - its simple. add to it as you would with oats.

oats are not wheat, so you would be suggesting he has wheat intolerance and oat intolerance (does it even exist) I think he has a more serious problem with digesting any bulky food. Go see the doc.

No they aren't, but most oats are processed in factories that process wheat, most celiac sufferers can't tolerate them. like me. Yes it exists?! Not suggesting you have Celiac disease, but it could be a simple wheat intolerance.

I have no idea what he might be suffering.. nonetheless.. its stupid to just continue to eat something that he can't digest right?

Most people here only eat 1/2 cup. I eat a little more than that and I always have friends to drop off at the pool right afterward. Not sure how that works exactly since theres no way my body converts it that fast but whatever.

I can eat like a half cup when I eat low - moderate carbs and other stuff like yoghurt and/or fruits on my high carb day.
