keep a log of what your lifting (weight/reps)
Use the log as a guide to challenge yourself and lift heavier.
Helps build strength and mass.
Try creatine, love the stuff.
good luck.
thankyou for your comments, much appreciated!!
Not quite so simple of an answer. What type of training are you doing? How long have you been lifting, do you have a good foundation built?
Are you dieting or bulking?
What have you done in the past with good success?
I would recommend that you pyramid downward. I start at about 5 rep sets of he heaviest weight I can perform and finish with sets of about 12-15 reps. I am also a hardgainer and this approach is working wonders for me.
Well most important thing to know is how long you been working out and what have you been doing? Its good to mix things up, especially for a hard gainer. If you find it hard to go up on weight I switch to 5 sets of 5 reps and the strength increases really fast. I do that adding more weight each week until I get to a weight I cant increase on. Then I take that same weight and do 3 sets of 8 - 10 reps (If only 8 reps I may use same weight for 10 reps the next week before adding more). This has worked great for me but you really just gotta try a bunch of things and figure whats best for yourself.
