Yea, no oral AS at the same time. Is your acne bad right now? I want to get a script to accutane, but my face is fine, so I doubt they'll give it to me. But I KNOW my face will break out during cycle, so I just paid $450 to get it overseas. So how is your acne now?

If your not that badly broken out now, I would start at a low dose, like 20 or 30mg/day and see how that works. If you need more, then you can bump up the dose and the effects will start almost immediately. I'm just saying that more is not necessarily better. The least amount you can take, the better. At 80mg/day, the sides will be so bad it's almost not even worth it. Good luck.

i havent started taking accutane yet, acne in my face isnt that bad, acne on my back is really bad, i had to go through 4 different dermatologists to finally find one that agreed to prescripe it to me at 40mgs/day

Those bastard dermatoligists, I hate them all. The reason they're so hesitant to perscribe accutane is bc some people, like 0.000001% have killed themselves while on accutane. WTF! Most people only get chapped lips - that's it! AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Any derms on here? I challenge you to a deul!

accutane has been linked to depression (or so they say)... im sure if you take the percentage of people that are depressed on accutane and the percentage of people with bad ance that get on accutane and are depressed because their skin is so bad it would be the same number... i took accutane and never had anything bad happen...
accutane got a bad name because an air force piliot killed himself while flying a 10million dallor plane.. and the US military blamed accutane for his depression... thats how the whole rumors and law suits started...
(i'm not talking bad about the military i'm in the army myself, its just the truth about how they blame shit instead admitting they put a manic depressive person in a piliot seat)

i think it was 5 or 6 months... and of course i did it thro a doctor so got blood tested every two weeks, and the good stuff..
its an amazing drug, it really does work. i went from being so horrible looking that you would throw up when you looked at me, to so clear that people would be like "well you have perfect skin you don't know what its like"..
but if you take it listen to your doctor, more is not better, in fact for me it worked better when they cut back on my dosage...

I was prescribed an accutane treatment several years ago...I didn't notice any dramatic improvements until after a solid 2 months of use.
So be patient as it can take a while before you get results and remember that accutane will exert its effects long after you discontinue treatment.
I was clear for almost 5 years after my last treatment. It wasn't until I started to dabble in AAS's that the acne returned, and it has never come back as bad as it used to.

ya i started it in august of like 1996 and by that december i was clear... and in ten years has not come back..

When I was on accutane for 5 months my doc had me at 100mg ED (Becuase of my size)... 40 in morning 60 at night.... Never seen any sides except chapped lips, mabey alil redness, and my bloodwork came back perfect.
They biggest problem with accutane is it deosnt remove it for good. Mine came back 2 years later but manly because of serious depression/anger due to death in my family... but it does work wonders while on it, cleared my bleeding cists up in a month and 5 months after i was good to go...

100mg is what i took... it goes by wieght for the most part, and how bad your skin is.. and how many areas of the body u are being affected by it

im only 2 weeks into accutane and when i smile i feel my face is gona crack
