    LMFAO!!

but really i love grits and eggs, eat them almost every morning. a 20g whey shake right after my cardio then 4 whites, 3 whole eggs, and 2 packets grits. might not burn as slow as oatmeal but tastes a hell of a lot better.

Bacon, eggs, grits...breakfast of the south

edit...actually it's dried ground corn...then you cook it like cream of wheat

It looks kinda gross, but propably is really tastey.

I've never had Grits before, but I LOVE corn muffins, so I'd probably like grits too.

grits are definately not like oatmeal IMO where i can eat oatmeal raw, undercooked, overcooked, wet n runny, mushy, sticky...as long as i put salt in it in the beginning and splenda after i love it but grits need TLC...when done right they are very good

It'd be good if you actually "cooked" your eggs. Also why so many yolks? tons of fat.

lol its only 2 egg yolks 4 egg whites and i mix it together because its all going in the same place anyway.

side note to the other posters.
grits add butter and salt, oatmeal you make it sweet with brown sugar or splenda, do not compare the two.

i don't use butter....country crock...but i compared the too by the fact that it's a little harder to cook and get just right

2yolks and 4whites? So 4eggs total? leaving the yolks in two of them.
That's a weak ass breakfast lol
Try a dozen egg whites tomorrow morning.

there is good fats and some protein in the yolk. I would do 2-3 whole eggs and 10-12 egg whites.

  27. #27
Fat isn't ideal to mix with your Prot/carbs in the AM for your first meal IMO.. your body needs fast absorbtion and the fats tend to really slow that down. I'd leave the fats for the 2nd meal depending on your program.
