the last fire truck i was on was 13. the station number was 13. my tee shirts had "LUCKY 13" printed on them........i never felt 13 was a bad number until dec. 7th 06....never again will i wear the number 13......that day was the last day of my firefighting career. i fell off a roof and was seriously injured.

A little history lesson unless you already heard this. The superstition comes from the fact that the Catholic Church believed that Jesus was crucified on Friday the 13. This is why they see it as bad luck. But to Christians it was a very lucky day if it did happen on that day.
