    Weird question

    I work in an office and at around 3:30pm/4pm I usually get a quick coffee. Lately I have found that putting 1 scoop (24grams) of chocolate protein powder into my coffee tastes pretty damn good. I'm just curious if doing this hinders the breakdown of whey in the stomach at all? Its kind of like my late afternoon treat/snack. This is usually the only time I consume protein powder with the exception of PWO but, even then I usually opt for "real" food such as a grilled tuna steak with rice.

    It doesn't hinder any protein break down but what's the rest of your diet look like? If it fits in to your daily macros I see no problems with it besides that most here believe that you need a fat or carb with your protein.
