I work in an office and at around 3:30pm/4pm I usually get a quick coffee. Lately I have found that putting 1 scoop (24grams) of chocolate protein powder into my coffee tastes pretty damn good. I'm just curious if doing this hinders the breakdown of whey in the stomach at all? Its kind of like my late afternoon treat/snack. This is usually the only time I consume protein powder with the exception of PWO but, even then I usually opt for "real" food such as a grilled tuna steak with rice.
